Here's a sample - "Spring in Central Park"
Shadows rise, then draw upright/ darted through with beams of light/ Black-on-purple evening sky/etches trees, wraps you and I./ Spring-warmth flows away the tares/of wintry fields, my icy cares./ A touch of laughter echoes near/and dances lightly, in my ear.
